Life is not about us! It is about the service that we can yield
to others. It is about glorifying the God that created us in His
image. It is about discovering the talents that we have all been
given and employing them in His service.
Life is about giving! It is about sharing! It is about leaning to
balance our physical and spiritual natures. It is about learning to
be His! We were made by God and for God. It is our job to understand
this.
In the seminars on the importance of personal character in business
we hope to bring out the realization that we are spiritual beings.
We must realize that our lives at work have to involve
service, giving, and sharing. Work is our laboratory for
demonstrating the spiritual side of who we are while simultaneously
earning a living. Work needs to manifest our spiritual selves.
In everything we do we need to understand that our task, while on
earth, is to glorify the One who created us—God.
As Paul states in Colossians 4:23, “Whatever you do, work at
it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,… In a
sense, our work is one of the means of glorifying God. |
